Question: How do I set up Eudora with my Odyssey Multimedia Incorporated email account?
Answer: You can easily set up and use Eudora with your OMI email account.
Step 1: When you start Eudora for the first time, you will be prompted to set up a new email account. Click the 'Next' button.
Step 2: The 'Create' radio button should be already selected so do nothing and click the 'Next' button.
Step 3: Enter you name and click the 'Next' button.
Step 4: Enter your email address and click the 'Next' button.
Step 5: Enter you logon information. This will be the same are your email address.
Step 6: Type in your Incoming Mail Server name. Your 'Incoming Mail Server' (POP3) name will be mail.yourdomain.com (replace .com with .net, .org or whatever extension your domain name uses). Make sure that the 'POP' radio button is selected before clicking the 'Next' button.
Step 7: Enter your Outgoing Server Name. The 'Outgoing Mail Server' (SMTP) name will come from your ISP (Internet Service Provider ). NOTE: You may need to contact your ISP to find out what SMTP server to use to receive your email.
Step 8: Click the 'Finish' button. You can now begin using your email account. It is a good idea to send a few test messges to make sure everything is working properly. If you have any questions about using Eudora 6, you can use the Help menu option or the Eudora Technical Support.
